Research: Analysis of previous A2 work

  One music video that I will never get tired of watching is this music video created by previous A2 students. The camera techniques and mise en scene stood out the most for me and is unlike any other piece of A2 work I have seen so far.  

 
Instantaneously, I am introduced to the artist (strobe lighting and clever use of cuts) which makes me want to continue on watching. Not much is given away but within the opening seconds of the video, I automatically am drawn to what I see.






 Subsequently, the mise en scene is a strong point in this video. Inexpensive props such as fairylights which hang from the artists body is used artistically to bring out the artist in centre focus.
