Research - Choosing a song and Creating a mood board

In today's lesson we had to decide which song we would do. This was difficult as we couldn't agree on which song to use. After looking at a bunch of artist such as; Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Just jack, Plan B...we ended up choosing Pixie Lott - Here We Go Again.

This is an un-released song from here album Turn It Up without a video. Therefore we will have the experiment and make our version of this songs. I think this will be fun to make because afterwards we can see how our's is different to her other music videos.

Afterwards we had to write a letter of Copyright Clearance to Mercury Records.I signed the bottom of the letter and popped it in the post and sent it off to the record company.

Using Camtasia we were instrusted to create a mood board. using picture that would best describe what our music video would look like I made a slide show with the track Here We Go Again in the background. Again this was difficult because now I had to think deeply about our target audience, what shots we would use, how the artist would dress and so on.

I overlapped the photos which related to each other. For instance, the style the artist would have or what store our target audience would shop at.
